(December 7, 2021, 9:23 pm)We are recently new to the area and when looking for a good vet, some friends recommended Tara. I’m so glad we came— we have been very pleased with Dr. Schoonover who has now seen both of our beloved pups and we can tell she is very thorough, good with animals, and friendly. She took the time to answer all of our questions! I also liked how she wanted to divide up the vaccines that our youngest dog was due for, rather than giving them all at once, (and of course they didn’t charge us an office visit for bringing her back in for those last shots). We received a welcome card and little dog toy in the mail, too. Oh, I loved they called a couple of days after the office visits to see how the dogs were doing and to ask if we had any questions. We’re very pleased with all we’ve experienced there so far!

(October 27, 2021, 2:17 pm)All the Doctors and staff at Tara are outstanding! They are all so caring and professional. I am so glad to have found them for my happy and zealous Blue Heeler! And, as it turned out, Dr. Sims has several of her own and knows exactly how to treat my sweet girl. We are very lucky to have this vet hospital here for us! Thank you all at Tara Animal Hospital!
This is the BEST vet and hospital in the Metroplex. I can't say enough!
(March 23, 2021, 7:45 pm)I started using Dr. Read back in 1988, when she was Dr. Roberts and was the lone vet, in a location in a strip center down the road from where Tara Animal Hospital is located today. She was the perfect veterinarian then, as are she and her colleagues today. From clinic staff, to all of the docs, I have never had anything but professional, warm and empathetic, treatment from all. I moved away for 8 years and was so happy to move back to the same area, so I didn’t have to drive a long way when my fur babies needed treatment. Believe me, I would have driven however far I needed, as it is easier for me to go to a new doctor or dentist, than it is to a new vet. Peace of mind is invaluable.
