(June 4, 2020, 5:55 pm)McPherson Park is FANTASTIC! The playground is in full sun, though, so plan to go earlier in the day during Summer. They have plenty of bathrooms, shaded areas, and a beautiful landscape! We haven't explored the recreational areas (basketball, field, and volley ball), but we have enjoyed the splash pad twice since they opened for this season. The splash pad is really nice, and once again, it is in full sun, so take precautions for sun exposure. My family LOVES this park! It's well-maintained and has plenty to do for a family day at the park.
