The community is super friendly, the atmosphere is laid back, the instruction is superb, and there are plenty of formidable opponents. Whether you're brand new or have been training for decades, Nathan and his instructors are very professional and will ensure you have a great experience.
(June 1, 2022, 1:30 pm)Love Sloth BJJ, they are a great team and the nicest people out there. Nathan is a wonderful teacher, he focuses on technique and making sure his students understand the finer details of the moves he's showing. This is a great school for beginners especially, but of course upper belts will gain a lot of valuable knowledge here as well.
(April 26, 2022, 8:49 pm)Nathan and his students at Sloth BJJ are some of the nicest people I've met in my bjj travels. They answered the phone promptly, and gave me a schedule so I could stop by and train while I was in town. The training instructions were clear and structured, and his students from white belt to higher were well versed in their craft. I highly recommend stopping by their gym if you are ever in the Dallas / Grand Prairie area!
(January 6, 2022, 11:50 am)Both my son and I have been training at Sloth for a year, which is hard to believe! I had zero martial arts experience when I started. As intimidating as it was in the beginning, everyone made me feel welcome and took their time both during, after class. I can't see myself training consistently anywhere else in DFW. Sloth BJJ is for everyone young and old male or female, even if it's just for a free trial class.
Welcoming environment, great workout, good people and lots of rolls.
Highly recommended!
