My son was less than 2 years old when we saw Dr. Owens and his father! They were both very caring, knowledgeable and helpful. After the surgery I had some concerns and it was a Memorial Day. Office was closed. Dr. Owens Robert met us in his office to make sure that everything was OK with the incision on his day off! Would not go to another ENT! Thank you.
I really don’t understand some of the poor reviews. Dr Owens is brilliant, trustworthy, and really cares about his patients. His bio and innovational surgery techniques speak for itself. He is a second generation Neurotologist (this is said to be one of the most difficulty surgical fields-, as difficult to perform as brain surgery as parts of the ear are so tiny) and he developed an in -op technique that no one in the world has ever done. He attended the world- renown, prestigious House of Ear school, and is a highly sought after surgeon and expert in hearing disorders. I have had 7 ear surgeries and he is my 4th surgeon. No one else can compare. His personality may be a little “different” at times- especially if you haven’t established a relationship with him yet, but I trust his skills more than any other Dr I have had. There’s a reason why people drive half way across the country to see him. For those of you who said he takes two minutes and walk out- if you stop and ask him questions he does a thorough job of answering them. Many Drs assume patients don’t understand or want to know the details...... (and many patients don’t). I can not recommend him enough and I would never go to another Doctor for my ears. Thank you Dr Owens! You are my favorite!
Dr Owens gave me my hearing back and I’ll forever be grateful. I really do not understand some of the negative reviews at all because he has been my favorite doctor of all my doctors. His office is probably the most efficient office I have ever been to and every staff member has been absolutely wonderful. I have been in for several appointments and post-ops this year and never had an issue with waiting. He is a wonderful doctor and even my mom mentioned how much she liked Dr. Owens because there was nothing pretentious about him. He is very down-to-earth and you can tell how much he cares... I am so happy I found him and thank you so much Dr. Owens!!! I can hear everything now!
