Verandas at City View

My review is strictly about the current staff and maintenance crew here at Verandas. Ashlee the PM, Rebecca and Nikita have been absolutely amazing at what they do. They have always remained professional even when I am frustrated with the changes that Avenue 5 has implemented. I’ve been a resident here for going on 4 years I have seen management change so much. They are by far the best thing that has happened to this complex. THEY DESERVE A RAISE.

I’m not sure why there are negative reviews coming in since Ashlee has been here because she has been working so hard to make things better and folks need to remember that she came into a total mess and it will take a bit of time to straighten it all out. Yes the landscaping needs work, we were told our bushes around our air conditioners would be replaced when they took them out during the freeze last winter and it still hasn’t been done. Also there is a stump that needs to be ground up and another tree that needs to come down because literally half the tree is gone already and it looks stupid but we have to give her time to take care of it!!!!!! She hasn’t been here that long and look at how much she has done already!!!! What other manager that we have had drives the complex every morning when she gets here? In our 4 years here it has only been her! So maybe we as residents can ease up a bit and understand that she is not to blame for what has taken place prior to her arrival and give her a chance to get caught up on everything. Your doing a great job Ashlee and appreciate your hard work so far!

I recently visited this property and what I saw in comparison to other properties was pretty nice. It looked clean and I did not see any glaring issues. The manager, Ashlee, was very nice and was honest about areas that were being worked on, like the landscaping, which was reassuring. I would say it's not the best property I've seen, but I would put it in my top 3 for the area.
