(April 14, 2023, 11:29 pm)Our first visit, the service was prompt and courteous. We were warned that it would be a few minutes to prepare a fresh order of gizzards. I appreciated the warning. Maybe 7 minutes later, we were back in the car on our way home with our hot fresh Friday evening meal. The seating area was spacious and clean, no obnoxious music to prevent pleasant conversation while we waited.
She had chicken fried steak, with extra crispy okra, corn fritters, & a roll. I ordered gizzards, delicious brown gravy, & crinkle cut fries. My delicious gizzards came with very tasty brown gravy, I was pleasantly surprised to find a roll in my super full takeout box. I was starving but I could only eat half of my gizzards. Such a great value!
We will be back! We have found our new chicken place!
The Cajun place had such poor quality chicken and the prices were completely outrageous…

(January 17, 2020, 8:24 pm)Lisa's Chicken and seafood is a small family-owned restaurant that has an inexpensive menu but provides you with a hefty portion of your meal. My favorite is the 2 piece catfish dinner (2 piece catfish, 2 sides and a drink) for less than $6. But I've had the gizzards, and fried chicken meals. They have many side options to choose from like:
Fries
Corn Poppers
Fried Okra
Corn on the cob
Gravy
Green beans
Corn
And more.
For $13, my wife and both eat well with left overs.

(January 13, 2020, 4:57 pm)Tried them once before and no one in the house was impressed with the food. Decided to give them a second chance, and this time around everyone except 1 person was content with their food. I ordered the shrimp basket and a side order of fish. My sister had the hot wings and fries and my husband had the chicken fried steak dinner and was not impressed with the dinner or the apple pie with icing I ordered. So all and all, 2 out of 3 is better than 0 out of 3 or 1 out of 3.
(December 28, 2019, 11:26 pm)Great food and a lot of it! This is one of those places that looks kind of sketchy but ends up being one of your staples! You are not usually just driving by, but is still not hard to find... not too much back in the cut and well worth the drive, if you don't live in Arlington. When you have a large appetite and low on cash, there is not a better place for some delicious fried chicken and fish!! Don't forget those awesome soulful southern sides! A must visit!!
(October 19, 2019, 2:59 pm)1st time customer. I don't live in the area but I will be back. The customer service was great. The food was fresh and tasted great. I was recommended the catfish omg very pleased. The store even offered a lot of my favorites and things I wanted to try. Great little spot. Glad my friend and I popped in.

wow i love Lisa's Chicken; today I got a 24 pc shrimp box; I was disappointed with the amount of cocktail sauce packes for a 24 pc! 4 packes of cocktail sauce for a 24 pc, it's not that hard to order a big can of cocktail sauce and put it in cups for the costomers. please fix this. See More.
