Lodge At Bear Creek

My 87 year old mother was in the Lodge at Bear Creek for 60 days after breaking her hip and having surgery. I was there almost daily. She was in a room on the first floor. We were both extremely pleased with the care she received. She had intensive therapy twice a day most days, 6 days a week, and was able to walk out with a walker when she left. The caregivers, nurses and therapists were wonderful to her, especially Angelina, Noella, Tamela, Agnes, Edna, Christine, Sarah, Doris, Denita,, jake, Lauren, Gel, Debbie, Sue (and I’m probably leaving someone out!) Everything was kept very clean, her bed was changed every other day, wastebaskets emptied multiple times a day, floors swept and mopped daily. There were a few hiccups here and there, but overall we couldn’t have asked for a better rehab experience. Mom said if she ever has to go to rehab again, she would want to go back there.

Such a homey feel. Upon entrance greeted by Ms. Ella the receptionist who makes you feel right at home. The smell of cookies baking and fresh lemonade or fruit enhanced water depending on the day and the time you visit. The entire team there makes you feel welcome. The management team is very attentive and available for questions. Great therapy team and nursing care.
