(July 19, 2021, 5:40 pm)I was originally with Dr Richard Vera whom I loved and he is an amazing doctor. I was moved to Dr Shaikh and my care never faltered, but instead, maybe increased. Dr Shaikh is a great doctor that utilizes his knowledge coupled with the patient’s desires for a better life. He really treated me as a whole body, and not just a system or two. He listened to my concerns, had good research to direct me to and great care options. He has a good sense of humor and great bedside manner. I felt in control of my care due to his list of care options. Chronic pain is hard to live with due to the stigmas and stringent regulations, but he made me feel like “a person” again!!!
