Solo Stove

We have purchased many Solo Stove products and it was great to visit their store/warehouse. They have quite the setup and obvious that they put time and effort into the presentation of their store. We had a pickup order from online shopping, and we purchased a few accessories to add to our collection while visiting.

*updated* customer service contacted me back within the hour after leaving my phone number. They were fully aware of the issue from the website message i had sent, I did not have to explain anything. He took care of it and gave an apology and was very courteous.

Original review: Great product... horrible customer experience ordering.

Ordered a stover for pickup, and when I finished placing the order I realized it had a shipping address to my house. I can't afford to wait for delivery so I try to cancel that order since their website states shipping option cannot be changed after the order is placed.

Their live chat online is a joke. You wait ten minutes to get a live agent. Then the live agent can't answer any question because it's out of their knowledge level and say they will elevate your ticket, and they shut down the conversation right away on you. So couldnt cancel it that way. Called the location several times with no answer. So couldn't cancel it that way. I send a message on their website and they said to allow 3 business day for reply, yet need to cancel orders before they are shipped. So who knows if my order will be canceled.

Ordered another stove in the meantime, made sure to select "pick up" and not shipping. My order confirmation still states SHIPPING to my address.

So seems that their order confirmations is what doesn't show accurate delivery options. I now have two orders of the same expensive item. No way of canceling it, and unsure if they will even be delivered or I will need to pick up.

What a joke. Will update as it gets resolved or not.

Okay friends, the Solo Stove Bonfire grill is perhaps my BEST BUY over the past year. I cannot possibly convey exactly how amazing this product is. Unbelievably easy to get a fire going with just about any fuel source, and burns for a very long time on just a few pieces of wood. In addition, I am always completely captivated by the dancing flames of the secondary burn. I purchased the cast iron wok to go along with it, and we have made some incredible dishes while enjoying a relatively smokeless campfire. When not on the campsite, I like to set it up in the backyard with my Sonos One speaker, to bing the campground home with me for a few hours on a cool night. It burns everything, so clean-up is simply dumping a few ashes out and you are ready to use it next time. If you haven’t purchased one of these, and you want to be able to have a campfire without the fear of burning the campground down or breaking fire restrictions at many sites, a Solo Stove Bonfire is exactly what you need!

I purchased a Solo Stove Bonfire for a trip down to Padre Island National Seashore. It worked out brilliantly for having a fire with the wind coming off the gulf! We even cooked some steaks and potatoes on it! I highly recommend this product as it also loved up to it's billing of little to no smoke. When we put too much wood or too big a piece it smoked a bit but with regular cut logs 6 inch diameter or less it worked fabulously! I easily transported it in the carry bag strapped to a cargo carrier as well. This was the best gear addition on this trip!
