Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

The staff at this Hand and Stone are quite friendly. My wife has gotten a few massages here and I just purchased three massage voucher gift cards for some family members. The buying experience is quite easy and I know that the recipients really appreciated the gift. These days people don’t want stuff, they want experiences, and what better than a massage!

I just showed up here for a massage just now, and I accidentally went to the wrong location. The man at the front desk helped me cancel and reschedule at the other location, he was so kind. The female behind the counter had such sweet things to say and helped make suggestions about how I could solve the problem. On my way out she continued to lift my spirits and I was really having a bad day so both of their kind gestures made such a huge impact on me. Thank you so much!!

I am updating my review:
I reached out after Hand and Stone contacted me and allowed me to come back in for a complimentary massage with a different therapist. (They recommended her).
I left that room in a relaxed state, after arriving in pain. The therapist checked in with me throughout the massage about pressure. Which was fine. I prefer to not talk during session. And she kept that to bare minimum which was great. The therapist did a great job of working out a horrendous left shoulder blade knot I had, and I would definitely go see her again just based on that alone. WOW! THANKYOU! The hot stone was OK. I still have not found anyone who uses it for the whole massage and start you out facing up and then have you turn facing down and leave the stones on areas already worked as they move on to next section. There is nothing better than that, it leaves me in a zen space that I have only ever been able to achieve with a therapist that utilizes this technique.
My only complaint is I would have liked to have something covering my eyes while face up so may maybe next time I will bring my own.
This massage was WAY better than the last one, and I would go see this therapist again. (Ask for Joanna)

I would like to thank management for reaching out and making this right. I used to have a membership with them I was offered to rejoin but declined at this time. As others have stated it is too hard to cancel the membership once you start. They should have a pause feature like the gyms. I would join if they had that feature because as most of us know. Sometimes our finances change in a way that doesn't allow us to come as often as one would like. Being able to pause for a period of time rather than cancel would be beneficial. If they have this feature I have not been made aware of it.

This was supposed to be a RELAXING birthday gift from my husband.

I did NOT receive the service I asked for or are accustomed to, Full Body Hot Stone Massage.

I genuinely feel like my husband wasted his money and I? My time! The experience sullied my birthday gift and memory.

I don't come to the spa for physical therapy. That is a different service, and this is not the place for it, imo.
I won't be back to this location or any other Hand and Stone unless they offer to make this right.
