She has been very honest, and have given me many resourceful information for me to make decisions about my treatment. Doctor Birdwell is very easy to talk to. She has been very knowledgeable in her explanation of my particular diagnosis and provides valuable information on what to expect before, during, and after recommended treatment procedures. She has always listened to any concerns or questions that I or my husband may have about my diagnosis. I feel that she genuinely cares about me and my breast health, and puts me at ease during each visit because she not only explains things verbally, she also draws out visual diagrams to further explain what conditions and procedures will look like from the inside of the breast. She completed two successful surgeries on me ( a Chemo port insertion and lumpectomy) leaving almost non-visible scaring on my chest and breast areas. I highly recommend Dr. Birdwell as a knowledgeable and caring breast surgeon and specialist.
