  This is a dream come true for my son! It’s everything we love about Camp Anothen plus academically preparing him for Kinder! He comes home tired and so happy! I love the staff, the school, the owner and concept! I’m so thankful to have the chance to participate in something so special! I would recommend to anyone!

  We love Mrs Angie and Anothen. This was our sons first time in school and he was very shy when he first started. He made friends very quickly and he loved his teacher mrs angie so much he talked about her every day. We were impressed how fast hes learned sounds and animals and some numbers and he loves being outside! We are so thankful for this school and the way they love Jesus. I highly recommend their school and summer camp

  Anothen is a great place to be as a child or employee. The Anothen family strives to provide a nurturing environment predominantly in a nature setting with an emphasis on instilling the love of Christ and being Christ-like, all while setting the foundational skills for learning the basics. Loving, exploring, and learning with children while being in nature is just icing on the cake. Thankful the Lord led me to Anothen to take part in the journey of guiding and loving on our awesome families! Check us out, we are a one of a kind!

  The opportunity to work at Anothen Preschool Academy has been a wonderful experience. Helping children to learn in an outdoor setting is exciting. Each day we see growth, as we have new adventures. I am so thankful that God led me to Anothen.

  This environment is amazing for my child. I love the European Forest Preschool inspiration their program uses. I could not envision my child in a preschool, sitting at a little table, like his older siblings did. The fact that the children go outside to hike around the woods, explore and take their class lessons outside sold me. My 4-year-old will randomly point out a plant or an unshelled pecan. They play in muddy puddles when they can and sit in the sunshine with fresh air on them for hours.
  He is still learning all the preschool things like starting to sound out letters and small words & write. This morning he informed me it was time we planted watermelon seeds and how we need to care for them so they will grow in time for summer. They say there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes. Layer them up on cold mornings so that they can un-layer as the day warms up. We send extra clothes in his bag for dirty days. He keeps his rain boots & a raincoat there. We bought him waterproof winter ski gloves & water repellent winter coat. He wears little waterproof hiking boots most days. They ask we send sunscreen & bug repellent in at the beginning of the school year, so you guessed it, naturally I sent in sweatproof sun screen & a bug repellent for not only mosquitoes, ticks and flies. The property is covered in woods and kids are not in direct sun very much but I appreciate their concern. If you are looking for a preschool and are in the are, I recommend you go take a look.
  Not only is the concept amazing, the property is a wonderland, the building is perfect but also the teachers are some of kindest and most caring. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check it out.
