The Jones Center For Children's Therapy and Assessment

We had done our Testing/Diagnosis elsewhere, but needed a place for my LO to get much needed Behavior Therapy. So many places in south DFW were full or didnt come across as professional to me. I came here hoping what was left was a decent place. I was pleasantly surprized here. They have a polite and professional staff(who are not playing on their smart phones! 😊), quiet and calming lobby appropriate for children, complementary Keurig Coffee(cause us parents need it), and even a semi enclosed play area with a movie playing, toys, blocks, a soft play rugthat I use with my 3yo while we wait for my Kiddo to finish her session. Kudos for placing a large window on one wall, overooking the staffs' office and into the hallway so I can see when my other kiddo is finished with her session.

LPC Ms Campbell, my daughters' counselor, is amazing. She will talk me through what she and my LO did last session and what they will do today, and ask me if there are any updates she needs to know about. She's walked me through coping mechanisms that we can use with our kiddo when she has her outbursts and even how to apply some things at home. I feel VERY included in her therapy sessions and my LO has had virtually no isses at school this year. Her teacher is amazed that she is able to calm down and proccess her emotions, and that she hasnt had an outbursts like before. My LO is happy, I am happy, we are ALL happy.

The Jones Center has been amazing for my children. I have seen positive growth in their ability to manage their emotions and in their self confidence. One of my children went the the diagnostic analysis process. It was a positive experience and helped us to get the answers we needed.

I was very impressed with ever member of the staff we encountered during the process. It was very professional and organized. We had testing done with another doctor that went horrible. There are very few testing centers like this so our first time taught us exactly what we didn’t want. We were so happy when we sat down with Dr. Jones on the first visit. She walked through the entire process, explained what she needed from us, my sons mother and the schools. My son said (after his first visit) that he liked the process much better than the first time.

Every child is different, every test is different so I would encourage parents to really ensure the process that’s best for their young one. I can truly say I’m very happy with this office and the team that Dr. Jones has in place. As we are still working within the testing process we are very excited to see the results. I’m confident that we will get excellent feedback!!!
