I had a very POSITIVE experience getting health insurance for my husband and kids through this company. My company insurance for my family's coverage did away with my HMO plan, went up 35% for a plan that didn't copay and had a $14,500 deductible, and telehealth cost $50 per call. I would have been paying $950 per mo for bad coverage (for a family that doesn't use the doctor much), and the doctor visits all out of pocket pay, or a copay plan for $1,300 per month for the same coverage, but Savva at Empower was able to help me cut that premium in half, get my family on a very decent plan (not marketplace), while explaining the good and bad of the different marketplace plans. He gave me every good option to choose from, I chose to cut a lot of cost on the premium compared to company premium, with a low deductible and low out of pocket max, 1 million coverage, deductible waived for urgent care $50 per visit. He even called my husband's doctor to make sure they take it.

I asked a million questions and we found a combination perfect for us. He helped my kids and husband apply and get approved in a day on a non marketplace decent 1 year plan that doesn't cover maternity, and I personally stayed with company insurance and went one tier up, since it was affordable for "employee only" option. I even have two backup plans to cover maternity for myself in case I ever lose company insurance affordability including one decent marketplace plan that my doctors take. The very things I have been struggling with- you seemed to have the answers for. Although, my degree is in Marketing and I have 20 years experience in the industry, at the present time, lack of funds seems to hold me back. I want to thank you for helping my parents through a difficult time. They were so confused about Medicare and I didn't know all the details either.
