  In April 2023 I, in my late 30's, was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma. I had been seeing a dermatologist in the Grapevine/ Colleyville area and I had been going yearly for mole and skin checks. To my dismay the dermatologist had missed the skin cancer for 2 years. I discovered this only after the biopsy and it coming back cancerous as well as after going through a few years of pictures I noticed that you could see the change in my skin since October 2021.
  
  After much research my dad found Dr. Hopkins Dermatology and IG-SRT Skin Cancer treatment. I went in for a consultation and was so incredibly impressed with idea of IG-SRT (Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy) treatment. I ended up choosing SRT treatment with Dr. Hopkins for a few reasons, the first being that had a surgery on my face in 2021 and being that the Basal Cell was near my scar, nose, and eye, I did not want another surgery on that side of my face. The second reason being that the success rate was the same as MOHs treatment yet without the invasiveness of surgery and skin grafting.
  
  After the consultation I scheduled my appointments for the IG-SRT (Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy). I met with Nicki the IG-SRT radiation tech 2-3 times a week. Every 5 treatments I met with Dr. Hopkins or Jeanette, Dr. Hopkins PA unless I had a question about my skin or how the treatment was going and then they were always willing to talk to me.
  
  I am so grateful for all the staff at Dr. Hopkins practice. The front office staff are ALWAYS so kind and caring. Nicki the radiation tech always made me feel so comfortable. She is kind and compassionate and so incredibly knowledgeable. I appreciate her friendship and talks during my treatments. As for Dr. Hopkins and Jeanette, I will always feel incredibly grateful for treating my basal cell and helping me to continue to take care of skin. I cannot say thank you enough.

  Hopkins Dermatology has been very professional and polite. They helped me with skin cancer on my nose with minimal pain and discomfort. The procedure worked very well and resolved my issues. I would highly recommend them to anyone experiencing any skin related issues. Thank you very much Hopkins Dermatology!

  Dr Hopkins did an extremely thorough full body skin exam using a special camera to magnify my suspicious moles and educate me why they were targeted for removal. My father has had melanoma in 2 different areas so this was the most important objective of my visit. Dr Hopkins and her staff are intelligent, personable and on time!

  I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Hopkins in Southlake to treat my skin cancer. I was facing numerous uncomfortable surgeries on a delicate area of my face but avoided them by receiving evidence-based and Medicare-approved radiation therapy in Dr. Hopkins' beautiful office. Everyone from the front desk to the radiation tech Niki to PA Jeanette and of course Dr. Hopkins treated me capably and respectfully. They know what they're doing here and we're so glad we found them!
