Delicious! Tasty tacos and shrimp cocktail. Definitely want to try their huevos rancheros next time! Lots of sauce and salsa options too.
Our go-to spot for So-cal/SD style Mexican food. We've tired multiple Mexican restaurants around Fort Worth, however, this is as close as it gets. We do substitute/change a few things to make it as accurate as our favorite Cali spot. It's a 40 minute drive for us, but always worth it. Love the free chips and salsa, and green hot sauce. We always get the Cali burrito, Carne asada fries and rolled tacos.
Finally got a chance to try Vaquero's in Wautaga. This is authentic Cali style Mexican cuisine. Food is delicious. Portions are large. Cost is affordable. Everything I tried so far has been good. Limited seating inside. Plenty of parking. Breakfast selection looks good also. Definitely worth trying this place if you have not already.
easily the best breakfast burrito in this area. the burritos are huge and delicious. will have to come back soon to try other stuff. it's not filled with cheap bacon either it's the nice thick bacon.
went back to get the vaquero burrito one of the best tasting burritos I've ever had. could only eat half of it so much steak and bacon in it.
Visited this new restaurant for dinner. We got two #5’s which was a cheese enchilada, crispy beef taco with rice and beans. My daughter got the California burrito. They served salsa and chips with the meal.
We enjoyed the food pretty well. The beef taco had shredded beef instead of ground but I’m thinking one could request either. I enjoyed it. The food was fresh. The restaurant was clean. It had a simple front of house. You buy at the counter, they have a selection of bottled drinks and they bring the food to your table. There is a small salsa/sauce bar with some other items like pickled onions. You bus your own table.
Our only negative was the while the salsa was fresh and tasty it had a flavor in it that we couldn’t place and it was a bit spicy. I admit though, I was picking up the salsa cup and eating it, so I think I was being kind of picky.
They serve breakfast items and they are on my way to work. Looking forward to trying them out next week.
