La Scala Pizzeria

I've been searching for a pizza place that actually serves good new york pizza in the DFW metroplex. After 4 years living here in Texas after growing up in the NYC area, I have finally found it at La Scala. Everything is right from the sauce to the cheese to the crust. I knew it would be authentic as soon as I walked in and saw the red coca-cola dine in cups and pizza being served on paper plates. Definitely a new favorite for my family

We have supported Joe's / La Scala for almost twenty years now, and we had great meals and service there many times.

Stromboli is old-school greasy goodness.
Chicken picatta has a nice lemony butter sauce.
Simple side salad with Italian vinegarette is a nice complement to any of their pizzas or pasta dishes.

The food is good, prices are fair and we like to support them since they are a local fixture here in Trophy Club area for so long.

Again great food, never had anything that I didn't like... friendly fast and hot. A solid 9 in my book. I very rarely give 10s but they are close

Best. Sauce. Ever. I could drink it, that’s how good the sauce is. This is a family owned place with great food and incredibly affordable prices. 6 stars! Don’t miss this local favorite!

Are their twice while I stayed at the adjacent Marriott hotel. The food was incredible and the service was great! Both times I went in their they were incredibly busy, but everyone behind the counter prepping the food were very pleasant and greeted me! The first time I went, I had the BBQ pizza and it was incredible! The BBQ sauce and chicken was so good! I would highly recommend it! The second time I went I had a calzone and the chicken roll. Again, they were swamped, but the manager preparing the food was incredibly nice and was very appreciative of everyone’s patience. This is definitely a 5-star place to eat!!
