“We were invited to the indoor playground on Sunday afternoon, which is advertised as free between 3:00 - 5:00 pm. So, this review is only for the playground, not the church service or the people. It's a nice, multi-level play structure designed for grade school kids. They also have a play area for younger kids, too. There are shelves for shoes and seats for parents. Although it's supposed to be available until 5:00 pm, they closed at 4:00 pm the day we arrived.”

They are active on the Eastside and welcoming to all. They have many opportunities for service including outreach to Texas Wesleyan University.”

I have to say, this is one of the highest quality worship teams and technical arts livestreams I’ve seen, and I watch a lot of live worship services. I am so happy to find a congregation comprised of Lao, Thai, and Caucasian members who rejoice together as we discuss the teachings and share the glory of Jesus Christ. The sermons are in English and Lao language. I enjoy singing Bible songs in Lao language as much as I do the English versions. I feel very connected again with my Lao-Thai-American community. “This chapel is a place of peace from worldly troubles and sorrows. I love coming to church every Sunday. It is the highlight of my week. I get to feel closer to God and to his Son, Jesus Christ. I'm not perfect, but I strive diligently to increase in faith in Him and His atoning sacrifice. The Church teaches us how to be better Christians, how to have strong and happy lives, even how to avoid debt. I love my Savior, and at our meetings I know I can feel close to him and forget the worldly trials that try to destroy my peace and happiness. “My husband and I attended this church several years ago before we were transferred to a new place too far away to come any longer. We both enjoyed it while we were attending Services here. I lost my husband Victor on February 19, 2018, and had thought of returning here for Services, however it is much too painful for me at this time to be in a church we both were very happy in. If you are of the LutheranFaith, I do recommend this church. Maybe I'll be able to return one day and remember being here with Victor with happiness and not tears of heartache and sorrow.”
