“I am well overdue for this post, as it's now coming up on my year of recovery this month. And I'm glad to say, thanks to Dr. Followwill, I feel fantastic! I suffered with a bunion on my left foot that became a true pain. After the pain progressed over a period of a year and a half, taking me away from my life pleasures like jogging or playing with my son, I began to search for a podiatrist. I found Dr. Followwill through my insurance company. Upon my first visit, as I explained the pain and he examined my foot, he knew exactly what the issue was and advised me I had to do surgery. I was so nervous to hear this, as I've never had surgery before. Dr. Followwill and his team was amazing through the process and created an easy and calm process for my surgery to be completed. I went back to work on light duty 2 weeks after my procedure. I was pushing it, but circumstances were so, I needed to return. About 4-5 months in, I was fitting back into shoes slowly without so much pain and the swelling. Today, just 18 days shy of a year, I'm able to run, jump and move without that pain I felt before. Ladies who may be considering the surgery, do know that it takes modest time for the heels again, if you're a shoe girl. I'm barely rocking a 4-6 inch heel like I use too without pushing it too far, but I'm slowly getting back there. I wear them when I can look cute and go sit down in them. And even then, I make sure I keep my flats near. LOL I'm so happy to be rid of the pain and free to move. Thanks Dr. Followwill.”
