(August 15, 2020, 2:01 am)What can I say, I really love this place. Beautiful place and beautiful food. All of the food is just so carefully thought out and always delicious. The amount of creativity and love they put into tortillas is the key here. I'm always looking forward to seeing what the special is gonna be.
I can't believe it took me so long to try the rice pudding!!! It's so good!!
Additionally, the people that run Nixta are so generous and friendly. Right now they have a community fridge full of free food outside of the restaurant. That's the kind of place this is.
They care about people and the food shows it.
(August 9, 2020, 11:45 am)This is one of our favorite quarantine spots. Whenever we get takeout from here, in the privacy of our own home, we will shamelessly lick all the paper wrappers clean. I don't even know what the ingredients are half the time, but wow I just want to always eat more of it forever and ever

(June 21, 2020, 7:38 am)Nixta uses Barton Springs Mill flour. Food and Wine top 20 restaurant. Everything was delicious (tuna, duck confirm, tomato). Two thumbs up.
(February 4, 2020, 3:12 pm)This place is simply incredible. The food is not your run of the mill tacos. The use of different ingredients and flavors makes for unique flavors. The entire staff were all about the friendliest restaurant workers I've ever run into. The chef even brings your food out and explains what you are about to enjoy. I enjoyed their custom salsa so much. I told the chef and he gave me some to go. You will need two items from the menu if you are hungry.
