Little Woodrow's Parmer Bar & Grill

You know, I hate to not love this place. Great staff, great atmosphere, and lots of locals....but the prices are high compared to Brooklyn Heights at Avery Ranch. I think close to 150% higher in fact. Recently I spent $50 on 10 beers and 1 soda. The beers during HH were $4+ each for a plastic cup and the soda was $2 for a can. On the up side, they do have big beers for the same price but when the water went out last week in Austin we got served plastic cups at the same price...no consideration for the smaller size. Like I said, I really like this place but after going so many times, really taking care of the staff, and then getting a $50 tab for $30 worth of beer? Sorry...had to vent. Will be back. Just thought they had my back.

Really awesome dive bar. Really good staff and crew, bartenders are cute 🙂. Cool and fun patrons.
But, what has impressed me about this place is it's resilience and positive attitude all thru the COVID shutdown and restricted business operations. They have stayed positive always lively smile on every one of their staffs faces (you can see it in their eyes behind the mask).
A really cool place to hang out and relax after a good or bad or hard day of work.

They're doing a really nice job with patio social distancing. They are taking temperatures when you enter. Service was nice and attentive too. I'll certainly be back.

No points off for this because it's not on them but I didn't realize that so many people still smoke cigarettes and there's just a ton of cigarette smoke present on the patio so just something to note if you're sensitive.
