(November 12, 2017, 11:28 am)I started showing up back at their old location years ago, with nothing but a white belt in BJJ. Many blackbelts invested a lot of time into me since then. The generosity and honesty here is unmatched. This isn't about money, like almost everything in the modern world. This is just people meeting up to share their passion and have fun.
It just happens to be that we have some very skilled instructors as well–as a team, we now regularly medal strongly when we travel to San Antonio, College Station, Dallas, or Houston.
I have been to many martial arts gyms in BJJ (in which I am now a brown belt) and Judo (in which I am now a black belt) around the world, but I am particularly honored to be a part of this one.
