We are so fortunate to have our daughter at the Children's Courtyard in South Austin. The teachers and staff are so attentive, caring and responsive. They always communicate on a regular basis with the patents and keep us in the loop on upcoming events. They truly care about the well being of the children and do their very best to have fun activities throughout each week. While there may be many options for childcare, we wouldn't even consider sending our toddler anywhere else. We love it and our daughter looks forward to going each day!

Our family joined the CCY family at William Cannon a couple of months ago. My 3 grandchildren had been at the same daycare for over 3 years and having to make a change, especially during a pandemic, was terrifying enough. Not being able to physically tour a facility was even more terrifying. From my very first phone call I had a great feeling about this facility. The director and assistant were so friendly and welcoming. They made the application and registration process feel like a breeze. I was incredibly nervous dropping my grands off the first day, I even cried. But having the app and live stream really helped ease my mind. As the days and weeks went on, I learned what a wonderful decision I had made in enrolling my grands at CCY. The communication is incredible, all staff and teachers are very responsive. The love and care they give to the children is not only seen, but felt. Often in daycare settings we see the staff going through the motions of doing their "job", but it can often feel "cold". At CCY it feels like family, not just a building of people there to do a job and get paid. They build relationships with the children and parents, they celebrate achievements, they send photos in the app, they take the time to listen to the children and parents, and they work together with families. Health and safety is a top priority and they genuinely CARE about every child's well being. Often going above and beyond to provide extra to support to those that need it. Reading a child's words and actions is truly important. Children won't always say "I need extra love", or "I'm struggling". It comes out in other ways. I have seen first hand how the staff recognizes these things and takes action to help the child. I high recommend the CCY to anyone seeking safe, healthy and loving options for daycare. A huge thank you to all of the staff for all they do, every single day.

When I moved from Brazil three years ago my older son (back then at 2 years old) was having a lot of problems to adapt and live away from the rest of the family.
Miss Molly was able to understand the problem and help him, providing much more than basic care, but love.
Later on he moved to Miss April's classroom, one of the sweetest and most caring persons that I ever met. He stayed in Miss April's classroom until he started in school.
My second son joined CCY with one year. He started in Miss Krystal and Mrs Juanita's classroom. Miss Krystal is like a young girl playing with her younger siblings, jumping, singing, dancing, everything, and Mrs Juanita has the experience of many years caring for children.
After six months my son moved to Mrs Gwen classroom. Mrs Gwen is amazing. She is never upset and always nice and smiling. Always friendly and careful with the kids. She is just perfect, in my opinion.
His last teacher was Mrs Carmen. Mrs Carmen is like a grandma taking care of her grand children. She is strict but with a lot of love.
So, this is not an impartial review. I cannot be impartial with those people that took care of my kids with so much love. I just love them in return.
And that's the most important thing to me and my wife, the people that take care of our children. Don't get me wrong, the school have a lot of space, it is always clean and has lots of toys and books, very organized space, cameras and pictures, and the food is as good as all other places we visited before.
But in the end, we trust what we have of most valuable, our babies, to those teachers. I can say that each one of them gained my trust and my respect. It is an amazing team and we are very thankful to have found the CCY.
I don't understand why the bad reviews. I don't see any of them explaining in detail what is so bad. I have a friend that didn't even visited the CCY because his wife saw the reviews. I told him he made a mistake.
    Thank you!

My son has been at The Children’s Courtyard for a little over 2 years now. I must say it has been an amazing fun filled journey for him as well as an enjoyable experience for my wife and me.

The teachers all know my son very well and always greet him with a smile and a warm welcome. Occasionally I pop in during work and they always are happy to have a quick conversation with any updates or answer any questions I have.

I have been very pleased with the parent to teacher communication as well as the educational fun filled environment the school has provided for my son. He completed his pre-k class this past May in Ms. April’s class. I must admit thanks to both Ms. April & The Children’s Courtyard he is not only ready for Kindergarten, but definitely looking forward to his first day at public school!

The Children’s Courtyard in Austin on William Cannon Dr. has been a huge blessing to my family. We come to Austin for two months at a time for medical treatment and we needed a place for our 3 year old to come in and out of periodically. The school is organized, clean and safe. The director, Angelina, is so easy to work with and the rest of the staff is kind and caring as well. I appreciate the app to let me know everything that happens during my daughter’s day. Breakfast, lunch and snack provided in house was one of my favorite things about this school- no need to worry about packing a lunch! Highly recommended
