My husband had bought some beautiful chairs in 1985. They held up well for many years. One was broken and I took them to someone else to fix and reupholster. It was a disaster! My only hope was that Richard and his awesome crew could bring them back to their former glory. He did, check them out

We visited Johns to get advice and pricing for recovering 6, 45 y/o dining room chairs which also had failed foam and webbing. The chairs are a bit more complex than usual because they have a tufted pillow back with edge cording. Johns gave a reasonable quote for the entire project, picked up and dropped off the chairs, and got it done by the promised time. The choice of fabrics was huge. but we were guided towards a high quality fabric, priced lower than virtually identical fabrics. The work is impeccable, every bit a good as the original chairs. In fact, the seat foam is a slight bit more dense, and much more comfortable. We would go nowhere else. This is craftsman work.
