Dr. Mark A. Esche, MD

Absolutely the best psychiatrist I have ever seen! I’ve been through several psychiatrists over a 10 year period. None of those psychiatrist’s were able to solve any of my problems...nor did they even really listen to me or took my problems to heart. Dr. Esche not only did those things but made his diagnosis and prescribed medication that made me stable. He solved ALL of my issues at the very first appointment, after TEN YEARS of suffering, and he did it in ONE appointment. He is absolutely the best and most caring doctor I’ve ever been to. I decided to do my research and go to a 5 star doctor this time and that’s all I can say! My best advice is do your research and go to a 5 star psychiatrist!! To my knowledge, I believe he has the highest ratings in Austin.

Dr. Esche is the most fluid, well-spoken medical professional I have ever seen for my mental health. He makes sure the patient is aware of their psyche, explaining in severe detail the roles and duties of each brain function. I walked away feeling like I attended a lecture on neurology and has much as most people including myself can't stand long lecture I wouldn't mind scheduling an appointment everyday just to listen, learn, and build knowledge in neurology.

The office staff are really helpful and a delight to interact with. I did not have any issues setting up my appointment. However, because you have to fill out online request first. Right when I began looking for another mental health professional because I hadn't received a phone call the office called me to schedule an appoint. The office ladies scheduled me for two weeks out, but ended up having a cancellation and called me to work me in within 7 days of the original call. Very happy with the service and follow up. All staff caring for there patients.

This man has changed my life for the better. He listens and is honest. That might not sound unusual given his profession but I can tell you that it is. He will work with you through any hardships while being the most professional person. I would recommend him to anyone that felt as if they needed assistance in this particular regard. Dr. Esche has been the best medical professional I’ve had the pleasure to encounter.

Dr. Esche is the most professional, caring Doctor I have seen to date. I searched for about 3 months looking for a Doctor to manage me ; finding one that listens and then offers solutions and gives all of the pros and cons of each offered solution and then togather with you decides on the best option.. Wow!!

Dr. Esche is a awesome doctor! I was nervous the first visit, but when I met him, he was very friendly and easy talk to. I could tell he’s very compassionate about his profession and that he really tries to figure out what he can do to help the patient. Very knowledgeable and the staff is friendly as well. Most definitely going to keep him as my doctor! :)
