  When I had my initial consultation with Dr. Sheffield, I felt immediately welcomed into her workspace. I felt like the lower back pain that I had been experiencing for the past 6 months was normal, but the actual sources of my pain were shown and explained to me by Dr. Sheffield. Even better, my options were dicussed in a way that was simple, and she clearly cared for the fact that I was experiencing very real pain. I have bertolotti syndrome, and I used to be unable to stand without support for more than ten minutes. Waking up and getting out of bed hurt, and I slowly stopped doing the things I love. I immediately began seeing changes after her work started and her advice for what I should do at home and keep in mind only continued to help me manage and minimize my pain. A major difference is that my ability to enjoy activities has increased tenfold. Now, I'm able to turn my head without pain, able to run with my dog in the backyard, and soon will be able to do weekly jogs around campus.

  I am a registered nurse and was always somewhat skeptical and afraid to actually see a chiropractor. Even though it was recommended to me after a variety of aches and pains associated with working countless 12 hour shifts and three pregnancies. Eventually I was suffering from daily headaches and at least 2-3 migraines per month. Then, I also started feeling a very heavy head on my shoulders, along with a stiff neck, and very limited range of motion- I became desperate for relief and that is exactly what I got when I went to Dr. Sheffield. She helped me so much and totally changed my opinion about chiropractic care! After an exam, X-rays, and a thorough explanation I was on a treatment plan and before long back to normal. Even better actually, because now I hardly ever have headaches and only two migraines in the last year since she straightened me out! I trust Dr. Sheffield completely and know that I am in the best hands!

  Ten months ago a friend suggested I try Dr. Sheffield. Her holistic approach has been a game changer for me in that I have become virtually pain-free and have resumed my daily exercise routine, something I gave up about 6 years ago.
  
  My efforts over the years to manage an old sports injury led me to try physical therapy and pain management at three different clinics; prolotherapy, injections and pharmaceuticals with two different MDs; chiropractic with another practitioner; acupuncture; and some other things I have blocked from memory at this point.
  
  I did not experience substantive improvement until Dr. Sheffield. Her holistic approach to alignment, posture and core strength put me back on track. In addition to her expertise with body mechanics, Dr. Sheffield has The Best Bedside Manner – she’s an excellent listener, is genuinely concerned about my well-being, and has a wonderful healing touch. She makes me laugh, too.
  
  Dr. Sheffield's office is tranquil, and her staff - the lovely Victoria! - are a delight to interact with as well. I cannot recommend Dr. Sheffield more highly.

  I went to see Dr. Sheffield because I'd been discussing seeing "someone" with my husband because I just felt terrible all the time. My body hurt. I had recently started a workout regimen and struggled through it every day. I couldn't put my finger on the problem. I chose Dr. Sheffield because I didn't want to take the traditional medicine route. After 4 weeks of seeing Dr. Sheffield, I feel better than I've felt in YEARS! My body from a chiropractic standpoint was in terrible condition. Now I am beginning to see why I had some of the symptoms I had and feel great with her putting my whole body back in alignment. I would recommend Dr. Sheffield to anyone interested in chiropractic care. Dr. Sheffield has remarkable character as well!

  I began seeing Dr. Katerina Sheffield in May 2011. I was in constant pain from an ongoing neck injury. This was after I had already had disk surgery, to resolve the problem. The surgery only resolved part of the painﾅ at that point I was anticipating a lifetime of unresolved pain. Dr. Sheffield made one small adjustment to my upper spine (top disk) which immediately stopped the painﾅ. in that FIRST visit. Over the next couple of weeks the pain came and went between visits as it took several visits before my body would sustain the change (stay in alignment). I am thrilled to report that I now have NO PAIN! I almost can't believe that such a small adjustment can make such a huge difference in my daily lifeﾅ. but it does! ~ One VERY HAPPY pain free customer :)
