Great service, vibe and food. Weekend brunch plus daily specials all make it worth checking out. The Barbacoa Burger was excellent on Burger Monday.

Having a British mother and living in England for 3 years as a child I often had fish and chips (served with malt vinegar in a newspaper).
I am constantly looking for authentic fish and chips and have never found anything comparable.
I did a Google search for the best fish and chips in and around Austin and was constantly disappointed until discovering “The League”.
My wife and I went there just to have a quick drink while waiting for a table at a redo across the parking lot (there was a 45 minute wait for our table)
We tried the meatball appetizer which was fantastic!
We decided to blow off the restaurant across the street and I ordered the fish and chips to go.
Lonnie the bartender told me the fish and chips were the best and he was right.
Unlike most places that give two small tasteless filets, they give you four large size fillets that were cooked perfectly.
The chips (fries) were also great!
We will definitely go back to get the fish and chips again and try other items on their menu.
I HIGHLY recommend The League!!!

We love the League, partly because the food is great, but mostly because the staff is fantastic! Lonnie behind the bar is always great, Musab is terrific, and the management is so nice. Brian, the Manager, is always welcoming, friendly, and just down right a wonderful guy. He welcomes my wife and I every time we come, stops to say hi, and genuinely wants to catch up. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
