My husband was admitted here on Oct. 11, 2021 after being in the hospitalfor 56 days due to Covid and Stokes....we picked Texas Neuro because my MIL was a patient not once but twice here and we were always satisfied. In the 2.5 months that my husband was here, we had an amazing experience and great progress. The communication between Cody Rice, our case worker was amazing and always very professional. He kept us up to date with insurance information and anything else that needed to be handled. Provided me all the time with my husband's individual plan of care to show his progress by his therapist bi-weekly. Without him, I would have been lost...He was definitely the glue to everything I needed to know and take care of. The front end staff Anita was always here to greet me as I checked in daily to visit my husband. His Doctor, Dr. Tempest always visited him daily and tonmake sure my husband was improving. To the amazing therapist Aurora (OT), Jen & Laura (ST) and Kate (PT). These individuals pushed my husband to his MAX and were always professional and fed him with positive words or improvement. My husband's regular nurse Anita during the day always did an amazing job. Techs Mariah, Valencia, Jordan, Marsha, and Alicia were always on top of their game caring for my husband and were always professional. My husband has officially graduated from their Rehab program and is on his way to the PABBI and I cannot wait to see how much more he will improve. Thank you TEXAS NEURO

I need to share my wonderful experience at Texas NeuroRehab Center as an outpatient suffering from shoulder issues. First of all, the Center is located in a dreamy location, surrounded by a sea of greenery, and lush trees (on one occasion, I even spotted some deers grazing); the landscaping makes it very serene and peaceful and a perfect spot to undergo any kind of therapy. The buildings are also very well designed and from a distance look like a cluster of luxury homes, which is a far cry from a cold impersonal hospital building. The staff was wonderful, especially Katie Rusnik and her fellow colleague Donna, who have so patiently and professionally tended to my care. I could not have been in better hands and will forever be grateful for their care. Katie and Donna were very personable and warm, they also were very well trained professionals and I was able to get cured of my problem following a few short months of consistent care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It is an adequate facility. They need to improve in their accessibility of direct communication to the physician. Versus hearing the information relayed through a social worker than a medical staff. Your concerns are relayed through the social worker versus the medical staff if you want it addressed. Otherwise, you are leaving messages to the nurse for the doctor that may never get them or respond to them. Currently, they hold conference calls within the first week of admission, and then every two after. In my case, I would rather not wait a week to hear from the new doctor treating my family member or their plan of care for them. My best advice would suggest advocating on behalf of yourself or your loved one. Each patient has various providers that work on one or so tasks, so if you ask a question they may not even know something about their own patient. Sarah was a fantastic Dietician coordinator and Susan M, the RT manager was always very good. Han seems to be the nicest and best tech!
