Amber Pierce Hair

I recently moved to Austin and needed a new hairstylist, after hours of googling and Instagram searching I found Amber and she is AMAZING. She is very honest and upfront about pricing and will not do a service if it will damage your hair. She also gives the best tips and recommendations, I had a keratin treatment for the first time and it is LIFE CHANGING. She is also super easy to talk to and makes the time fly by when you're in the chair.

UPDATE-
Still seeing Amber years later. I made the terrible life altering mistake of going to another hair stylist bc I couldn’t wait a few days to get a balayage redone and they damaged it. I’ve learned my lesson and Amber has helped me grow it out. I would never and will never go to another hair stylist. Save yourself the trauma and go to Amber. She truly is THE BEST.

Went to amber for the first time today for a Brazilian blowout and had an amazing experience!! Amber is not only a seasoned stylist, but she genuinely cares about the health of your hair. I have struggled my whole life to find someone who can deal with my crazy curly hair, and I finally found the one. I left with a perfect cut, and straight smooth and silky hair! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stylist who cares about the integrity of your hair and anyone looking for a Brazilian blow out!

Amber is amazing! I had not colored my hair in a year and a half after going from years of blonde highlights to full brunette to growing out my natural hair in an effort to bring it back to a healthier state, but I missed my blonde hair. I found Amber on Instagram and took a leap of faith trusting the beautiful looks on her profile (FYI- she doesn't use filters on those!)

Amber immediately asked for my hair history and goals and showed me that her top priority was keeping my hair healthy--not just lightening at whatever cost. Before starting anything she was upfront about pricing for various options, which I SO appreciated. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process and did everything herself. And finally, I could not be happier with the end result!! She's a keeper y'all.

I recently started going to Amber and I already know I made the best decision possible for my hair! I moved to Austin about a year ago and still hadn’t found a hair stylist that delivered on the cut and color I was looking for.

Amber was honest and thorough with me on what it would take to get my dream color and also showed me where my hair was heavily processed and damaged — a little frightening to say the least but comforting to know that someone was looking out for me! She delivered on an awesome first highlight and cut and I know I’m in the best possible hands moving forward. Plus she’s hilarious and fun to hang out with — what’s not to like?!

Since moving to Austin, Amber has been the only person who I've let cut my hair on multiple occasions. I've tried other shops in Austin but none gave me the confidence to go back time and time again. Amber has been doing my hair for over a year now, religiously. She also cuts and colors my wife's hair, along with several friends. I highly recommend her services as her prices are fair and she's one of the best at what she does. She is truly masterful and not just with cuts. She has helped my hair look better, healthier and even helped make sure my beard was conditioned and soft by recommending the right products. If you are letting someone else cut your hair, you're doing it wrong!
