No, this place isn't like other rock yards I've been to. I had a great experience, but I can also understand the reviews that claim differently.

Yeah, the one on 71 looks smaller and less organized, the place is covered in inches of fine dust (it's a rock yard, but I've never seen that before) and there's a mountain of pallets in a corner that aren't stacked neatly and look like they've been there a while. That's not why I went there.

I needed some patio stones and I did go to Whittlesey for my last set. What I got from there was about a half ton of the culled remains of a pallet with some smaller unusable broken chunks mixed in (I know - those don't add up to much of the total weight as they are smaller). I got better rocks from ASAP for a better price, and I didn't have to wait as long.

I understand that personal experiences vary, but I had a good one here and walked away happy.

I really enjoy working with this company when it comes to buying landscape products for my house. Very friendly and fast service. I ordered 6 yards of decomposed granite and got it delivered the same day.
