Great Jiu Jitsu school for all skills, ages and levels. I have traveled around the US and Atos Austin Jiu Jitsu is one of the top schools to train. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. I would encourage all kids to enroll in Atos Jiu Jitsu to enhance life skills and confidence.
Clean gym, great people. Totally welcoming to a brand-new, no training novice. No weird egos or odd behavior, just gray vibes and a pure, clean, mental and physical workout. I got addicted on my first day lol
Our entire family goes here. The studio is CLEAN, well maintained and the environment is family friendly. All feel welcome here kids, parents, teens, and women (there are many ladies going here).
The Professor (term used for the lead instructor) is knowledgeable and experienced as a practitioner and teacher. From beginners to seasoned veterans the team here will push you to become as good as you are willing to be, without the "tough guy " mentality found at some places. This is more than just fitness and a martial art to them. It is an art form that they live.
A great place! Strong drills and a huge variety of techniques. New techniques every class. Rolling every class (from stand up). Old school. I had been training for about 7 years before I got there and I have learned a ton. The broad array of technique combined with the detailed teaching is amazing. Atos has a very deep bench of teachers, led by Prof Gui, the other Prof Gui, and Coach Antonio ("Ghost"). Extra bonus: good-natured and encouraging teammates! A great place to enjoy BJJ and raise your game!
I love this place. My 16 yo son goes here and my little ones will go here when they're old enough. Self defense is a life skill everyone should know. Atos in Lakeway has a great professor and is eager for everyone to learn in his class. Oh, and the professor is a WORLD CHAMPION...no big deal.
