I came to Austin in 2017 and the group leader from my previous fellowship (evangelical church) recommended me TCA. I've been at TCA ever since for 2 years now. I've experienced God's work in this church and His mercy and grace for SO many times. He touched my heart. At first, I was a little hesitated since I came and grew up in evangelical churches, but I don't feel like hopping around churches to find the "best" one either. So I stayed. Over time, the pastors remind me the image in Matthew 5, whom are hunger and thirst for righteousness, pure in heart, and peacemakers. They put God first, they seek and listen to the Holy Spirit, instead of acting on their own. This doesn’t mean the pastors care less about His words. Both are equally important. I remember once in a Sunday sermon, it was about Isaiah 40:31, in order to soar on wings like eagles, we need to prepare ourselves with both His Holy Spirit and His Words, just like the eagles need both wings to soar. Thank you Father, for taking me here, touching my heart, and transforming me by renewing of my mind.

TCA is a loving church that is multigenerational and multicultural. It's a good church to grow in
