Gordo's Tortas & BBQ

Been going to Gordo's for Breakfast and Lunch for quite some time now. Their Breakfast Tacos and Burritos are second to none and if you haven't tried a breakfast taco with scrambled eggs and brisket, then you haven't lived! Also, I'm just slightly addicted to their Pulled Pork Sandwich served Memphis style with coleslaw on top of the meat. Another lunch favorite of mine is their Taco Trio. I prefer the Brisket with Pico do Gallo, but they'll fix 'em any way you like 'em. They also have ice cold Mexican Cokes which remind me of how Cokes are supposed to taste from when I was a kid.

Welp, easy to say I'll be heading back to this spot. I've been driving by it for years and finally stopped by to check it out today. It'll most definitely be on my regular lunch stop list.

I tried to get a picture of the food, but it looked too dang good so I ate it immediately ?‍♂️

Been hitting up Gordos for 7 years and I've never had a bad burrito. Watching them grow has been fun and I still the same great service today as I did back years ago, they haven't let success get to their head and as the menu grows I discover more and more to like about the joint. Unfortunately as with all things good in austin the price has gone up, a lot! I'm still happy to fork out the dough but just do so less frequently. If you're headed down 290W be sure to give them a shot.

This was the best pulled pork quesadilla I’ve ever had. Not haven’t/fatty; perfectly crisp; lots of spice and the green sauce was just hot enough to make me happy, but not enough to ruin my life. Highly recommend.
