East Metropolitan Park

Great place to have family time. The lifeguards are friendly and took safety very seriously. I had a great time with my family. They have a kids' pool but it was closed when we visited.

Excellent, and challenging disc golf course. Bring a retrieving pole, it’ll be a life saver. It’s a very wooded course, with lots of narrow runs. It’ll force you to focus, and not just power through tees.

I hadn't planned on stopping, but then I saw the bluebonnets! Like a huge carpet! The water tier at the entrance is near too. I didn't go deep into the park because a disk golf tournament was going on.

Great park. Clean. Parking. Restrooms. Good for all age and many different active… fishing… basketball… disk golf… walk… picnic… it’s great for kids and adults… enjoy you family day.

This is such a beautiful park and has so much to do for anyone seeking to be outdoors. We love fishing here in the big, full, and clean tanks. Thanks to Austin Parks for keeping this beautiful.
