Great Central Texas 1-24 Slot Car Racing! After Z-Raceway closed in 2004 the greater Austin area was left without a competition level 1-24 racetrack for 15 years. Now you don't have to drive 3 hours to Houston, Dallas or San Antonio!
Located at Outlaw Paintball in Pflugerville, racing is on most Saturdays ($13/class), test-n-tune available whenever the paintball field is open. 8-lane banked Kingleman (lite glue) flat-track is a challenge for Scale flexi (LMP. GTP, NASCAR) and Group-F classes [as of May 2021 the preferred motor is the Intimidator 48k, or JK Hawk-7/48k].
A 30ft Oval (slight bank) is available for sprint, Whomp, Scaleauto, BRM, Carrera Evolution etc. 1/4 mile (1-24 scale) dragstrip is the only one in 190 miles!
Tom and Chris are great guys and and will hook you up! Rentals and RTR 1-24s (+ controllers) are available at good prices. A full Pro shop is stocked with any part, tool or fluids you need. Great pit stations with power for irons, truers, etc. and Very comfortable chairs! Repairs and custom bodies available. Snackbar at the paintball pro-shop.
Friendly local vibe - newbies and veterans are welcome equally (no "attitude" by staff or racers).
