Other than a 14 day turn around, Sewing Station completed my Battle Kilt very satisfied! They did an amazing job, cost was reasonable and after visit multiple shops that could not sew the leather it was nice to find such a great place with friendly staff. Highly recommend for all your sewing needs!
It was a delightful experience having Louise alter and fix my clothes. She replaced a broken zipper, reattached a torn belt loop, and altered a skirt down a size. I bought two of the pieces from a thrift store that didn't have a fitting room. I held on to them for a while, thinking I would have to donate them. Then I found The Sewing Station. It is my first experience with a tailor/seamstress/clothing altering extraordinare (pick your own term). Louise's prices are reasonable. The turnaround time was a bit over a week. Saving used clothes and taking them to her will be my new way of life.
I have been here twice already. First time for my daughter needing a button for her overalls had something in stock to match her outfit. Second time needed an Alteration and did an awesome job. I love that their local offer embroidery and learning classes to sew too. They also sell jewelry, candles, sunglasses and custom made tops or accessories. It’s a hidden gem near Downtown Pflugerville. Glad to have found them.
The Sewing Station did an exceptional job on my letterman jacket. Great craftsmanship, affordable pricing, and very courteous service. My ticket was completed ahead of the promised by date.this business is a local Gem!
My daughter is getting married soon and I found a dress to wear as the mother-of-the-bride, but the straps needed to be altered. I didn't know about The Sewing Station at the time, so I took the dress to another place thinking it would be a simple process. When I picked up the dress, the straps were very uneven and tight, and no extra was left on the strap when it was shortened. Someone told me about The Sewing Station, so I took the dress there to see what could be done. Louise was AMAZING. She took the time to lesson to my concerns and she immediately started thinking of ways to "fix" the straps. She was patient and willing to try multiple things. Not only did she fix the straps, she made them work better for my body. I'll definitely be taking my items to her in the future to be altered when needed.
