(June 10, 2021, 9:47 pm)Our son absolutely loved taking jiu jitsu classes at Gracie Barra. The staff is friendly and professional. We really appreciate Valentino and are glad we found this place. Highly recommended for kids and adults!

My 6 year old has been learning here a few times a week for 5 months, and truly loves it! Her increased maturity, confidence, and discipline from participating in and studying Jiu Jitsu is profound, and she has found some true friends!

(January 4, 2021, 12:23 pm)My 11yr old son has been going here since August of 2020 and he absolutely loves it! 4 evenings a week and he never gets bored!! It has helped him gain self confidence, become stronger and really feel like part of a team! We really like the coaches, especially Coach Valentino - he’s wonderful with all the kids!
(November 22, 2020, 10:19 am)I have two children who take classes here and they both love it, the older a little more than the younger. But, I have never heard them complain about going, when I say it is time they grab their gear and can't wait to see their friends, coach, and professor.
It is an intense hour for them, lots of hard work, exercise, and learning the proper techniques. Then they square off with a partner and do their best to execute what they have learned.
It is incredible to see their improvement and confidence in themselves and what they can do grow each day.
I highly reccomend Gracie Barra Oro Valley.
