LakeCreek Montessori - Chinese Immersion Preschool

Our daughter went to Jordan for a year between 2-3, and we are so happy for her growth in this short amount of time. The teachers cared for her like families, and the Montessori methods attributed significantly in her character building. She has grown from a timid little girl who wouldn't interact with anyone other than her parents, to a caring, helpful preschooler who loves to share and to help with household tasks. We feel so thankful to have met Ms. Cindy and Ms. Lu, and wholeheartedly wish Jordan continued success in the new campus.

Our daughter attended Jordan Montessori School for the last 6 years, starting at pre-K. Over the course of her tenure at Jordan, she has grown to be a thoughtful, principled, creative, and compassionate girl with a strong sense of purpose. She acquired great interpersonal skills and a high level of emotional intelligence. We feel this is due in no small part to the teachings and guidance she had received at Jordan. Academically, she acquired the ability to read, write, and converse in Mandarin. In fact, she acted as a translator for her non-Mandarin speaking parent while abroad. She had learned Arts, Science, and Math in both English and Mandarin. Jordan Montessori provided a wonderful learning environment second to none. We would wholeheartedly recommend Jordan Montessori School to any parents seeking an extraordinary learning and growing experience for their children.

Being part of the Jordan Montessori family for the past 2 years has truly been just that, a family. From the beginning, our child was taught independence and respect. Throughout the years, our child made a big progress academically, emotionally, and socially. The best part is we see the confidence to go out and be a better stronger individual.

Our son has attended Jordan Montessori since June of 2019, shortly after he turned 5. Prior to that, he was not in a Montessori program nor did he speak Mandarin.

Over the last 3 years, he’s developed into a caring and independent young man. He’s learned how to resolve issues with his peers without adult intervention, he’s grown in his ability to compromise, and he’s grown his capacity and desire to help others. I’m confident that he’s learned these skills because of the Montessori environment at Jordan.

In addition to his social development, his grasp of Mandarin has also grown significantly. He’s now able to have entire conversations in Mandarin with his grandparents. He’s able to read and write a significant number of characters, far beyond what I had expected when he started at Jordan.

The teachers/guides are very caring and work with each child to achieve their fullest potential. During remote/virtual school, the teachers had a full schedule for the children. Because of the diligence and dedication of the teachers, my son continued to grow and learn at the same rate I would have expected in person.

I’ve been very happy with the education he’s received at Jordan, and if it wasn’t for us moving out of state, I would have him continue here. I cannot thank Jordan enough for the amazing learning environment they have provided over the last three years!!

My children both have been at this school since they were 18 months old, and we've been a part of this school community for 4 years. I cannot say enough about what an excellent school it is - the teachers are committed and patient and dedicated to each student's learning experience. My children have learned to respect their environment and peers through the Montessori education. I continue to be surprised by how much my 5 year old is learning - she can read and write 3 letter words in cursive, and is already working on addition in math. She's flourished so much at this school into a focused student who is curious about her world, and also a caring and compassionate friend and sister. We are unfortunately leaving this school because we are moving out of state, and Jordan is one of the only reasons we are sad to go. They have been overly dedicated to students' safety, with their dedication to cleanliness especially during the pandemic. The bilingual education is also excellent - my daughter can read in Chinese and speak and sing songs in Mandarin. I highly recommend Jordan Montessori to any parents, and any child would be lucky to begin their learning journey there.
