Spent yesterday looking at several facilities for "senior living". The presentation and tour for Maple Ridge was impressive. The facility was very clean. People friendly. Just from our short visit - it had a real community feeling. At this time it is at the top of our list.
Howdy, Y'all!
My name is Jeff and I have had the great fortune of serving as an employee for Maple Ridge in recent months.
I was looking for a bit of part time work to supplement my regular job and was immediately welcomed by Mr. Steve and Ms. Lorena, assistant managers at the residence. They are so warm and genuine and I'm glad to know them and work with them.
Soon after, I met and was hired on by Mr. And Mrs. Stauffer. Ms. Donna and Mr. Herschel. I'm no spring chicken, and I can tell you that they are the best managers I have ever had the pleasure to work for! Their professionalism and care for their residents and staff comes through in everything they do.
Visiting managers have noted that they and their operations at Maple Ridge are the example for all of the Hawthorne company nationwide.
I could not agree more!
The residents have been so gracious and thankful for my service as a server in the dining room. And because of that, I enjoy doing my best and going above and beyond. It's my sincere pleasure. It's a really great community of people. Genuinely.
In the kitchen, Chef Art captains the ship with firm graciousness and loves joking with the residents. An excellent example of leadership. Chef Monica is cooking some of the best dishes I've eaten. Just finished the best Quiche. Wow! Chef Riley is a soldier. He brings the front and the back of the house together when he is running the line.
Angel is a smooth and stable force in the kitchen. It's always chill when he's around. Saving the best for last is Adrian. She is the quiet rockstar and whenever she is not around, things just seem a little off. Super solid!
On the server side, the daytime servers and housekeepers, Red, Tam, and Sonya, are super professionals. Hardcore and hard to keep up with. But they bring out the best in me.
My trainer was Adeline who is sweet, and dependable. I really enjoy working with wee little Skylar. She gives as good or better than anyone can dish out. And she has a great future. Emily is rad. Jasur and Christian crack me up. it's awesome to see how appreciative our residents are of hard working servers.
Many names I'm neglecting to mention. I'm grateful for them all.
The administrative staff from sales director, activities director, to maintenance, they are all genuinely really amazing people. Donna and Herschel have a talent for staffing great people with great talent.
If you'd like to work here, you won't find a more fair, loving and smiling management.
If you are considering living at Maple Ridge, your loving and caring family and friends are waiting for ya!
I know it seems like an ad, but, sincerely, this is the most gratifying work experience of my life.
God bless Maple Ridge, Cedar park, Texas!
🙏🏼
We love maple ridge the staff and residents are amazing. Nothing but great experiences here at Maple ridge
My brother lives at Maple Ridge. I enjoy going and having meals with him. The food is delicious and the staff is excellent. Management takes great care of the residents. When medical is needed, they are excellent at getting the necessary medical attention needed by the residents.
We are so thankful that our dad lives at Maple Ridge! I cannot say enough positive things about the management and staff.
The selection of apartments and layout plans are amazing and suited to fit a various of living arrangements.
Our dad trusted us to check out options for him to live. After the passing of our mother it was probably more difficult for us than him to move from a home of 50years.
The management was not only sympathetic and understanding of dad's major change late in life but they made him feel right at home from the initial meeting.
I could write a book about how good our dad is doing and all the friends he has made.
If you are reading this because you may be in a similar situation I have listed below the items our family was most concerned about where dad would live and how Maple Ridge fulfilled them.
1) Safety - 24/7 several management teams live on premises and watch over the residents with love and compassion.
2) Food - the Chef and kitchen staff are extremely friendly and respectful as well as preparing and serving wonderful meals and special requests.
3) Living accommodations - it would be difficult to find a more attractive and comfortable living plans for various needs and wants
4) Activities - the activities team are nothing short of amazing. My dad has become engaged in so many activities from arts & crafts to gardening. There is a well maintained walking trail, transportation to local stores, trips to the country, doctor if necessary and eateries before COVID....
5) Residents - my dad has made many new friends and they are one big family. The first Thanksgiving after dad moved in he asked us if it would be "okay" for him to stay there with the Maple Ridge family! Of course we said yes and we live 20min away! That said a lot to us on how dad feels about living at Maple Ridge.
There are so many other instances, situations where the staff of Maple Ridge has made my dad happy and us (his children) feel thankful that dad lives there. We have enjoyed meeting all the friends he has made and before COVID being able to dine with him.
Again, if you are considering a place for either yourself or a family member(s), I highly and confidently suggest Maple Ridge.
