HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Dave helped me get a 2009dodge ram 3500. The whole process was smooth and very well organized. These guys know what they’re doing. Paperwork was less than 15 minutes and throughout the time I felt no pressure from Dave, and he did an outstanding job, and worked as almost a guide and not a scammy sales person. Would buy from them again!

Worked with Jordan to buy a 2019 F250 and have it shipped to NC from Texas. I was a little nervous about buying site unseen, but after calling Jordan to talk about the truck, I understood why he is mentioned in so many 5 star reviews. Just a genuine truck guy, transparent and honest and I felt immediately comfortable working with him. After receiving the truck, I took it to the Capital Ford Truck Shop where they went over everything end to end and confirmed that it was mechanically sound and as advertised.

I feel bad for the customers who had bad experiences with their trucks. That's very unlucky and I hope I won't be one of them, but I also think many of the 1 star reviews are unfair to this business.
At the risk of sounding like a fan boy (which I might be now), I also came into this purchase with perspective. I wanted a clean Platinum F250 aluminum body, and only had 30k to spend. I searched the nation and couldn't find one within my budget, except this one. It's within my budget because it has 285k miles on it. If I want Quality, Clean and Cheep - to get that, I have to take the risk on it needing some repairs sooner than later. I was promised a truck that was super clean, doesn't leak on the driveway and has no obvious mechanical issues and drives like a low mileage truck. That's exactly what I got. The transmission could blow up tomorrow and I wouldn't change my 5 star rating, because the truck was exactly as advertised - I'll repair it, curse my bad luck and move on.

No reseller is going to strip down an engine or transmission to look for wear before selling. My advice is to skip on any truck that doesn't have a substantial maintenance history documented to give yourself the best chance of a happy relationship with your new wheels.

I don't know if I'll ever need another truck, but if I do, I'm buying it from them.

I was looking for a Gen 1 Ford Raptor and after looking all over the place at other dealerships and being lied to at those dealerships about the condition of the vehicle I ended up at American Truck Source and talking to Dave. This was the most relaxed car buying experience I have ever had. When I talked to Dave on the phone he was more than happy to answer all my questions and even crawl under the vehicle to look at it. When I got there, there was zero pressure. Dave showed me the Raptor and handed me the keys and said take your time with it and I will be inside if you need anything and I was able to just do my thing with no pressure from Dave. I took it for a test drive and then came back and hooked up my OBD Scanner to it to verify it had no hidden issues which it all checked out. I decided to purchase it and headed to my Credit Union where I was pre-approved but found out due to the mileage my credit union would not lend on it. Dave recommended a different Credit Union that they work with. I went through them and got the same rates but it was after 5PM at that time. I wasn't able to make it back out there until the following week. I was able to get everything with the loan squared away so when I returned the following Saturday Dave had all the paperwork already ready to go and it was a quick couple signatures and we were ready to go. Highly recommend them as not only was this Raptor in the best condition it was the newest one and also the cheapest out of all of them.

Update 4-23-25: Couple days after buying the Raptor I ended up having some issues with it. Even though I took the chance a used vehicle and bought it as-as I reached out to Jordan and talked to him about my issues and he was more than happy to assist with getting the issues resolved even though he didn't have too. Highly recommend this dealership.
