By far the best mental health care I’ve ever received in 40 years of dealing with bipolar. Justin, my prescribing nurse practitioner, replies to all of my questions and concerns via email and our medication sessions are very thorough. He is caring and very knowledgeable.
I have been seeing Justin Scaffa for over a year now and my life has been changed 100% for the better. Coming into this I was terrified of being a mental health patient BUT Justin listened and helped me to where now one year later I am flourishing. I still meet with him regularly to see how I’m doing, how my medication is doing, and to see if I need anything. He is extremely friendly and caring about his patients. If you are scared to see a mental health professional - I have been there and I highly highly recommend Justin for your care!
Justin Scaffa and Linda Mikesic are amazing. Both are so easy to talk to, understanding, and caring. I never thought I’d say this, but I love going to therapy.
I have worked with Justin Scaffa for years, and he had literally helped to save my life. I found him in a rock bottom period, and he gave me the tools to get through it and thrive! I’m a better person every day for having Justin as part of my team :-). And, I’m so grateful he’s a good person as well as an experienced professional.
I've been going to Justin Scaffa for about a year now and I hesitate to call it just "good psychiatry" because it has been much more than that, he provides analogies and concepts that stick with me forever and have reframed the way I think. I have been to many psychiatrists that just throw Meds at you and that is not Justin, he will spend time making sure what you have works and if it doesn't, create a strategy for something that does. 10/10
