This was a suggestion from a friend and it is a good suggestion. We had a Turkey plate and brisket plate. We got there later at night so they were running out if stuff, but everything we had was good. Brisket impressed with how tender it was. Had to avoid the mud to get to a table. Overall a good visit and we intend to be back. More during the day to try more sides.
If you are looking for the place to try the best BBQ - “AgapeI” is the right place to be!!! Beautiful venue in Liberty Hill, plenty space as for the kids to run, as for adults to enjoy live music. I have to say BBQ ribs are the best I've ever had in my life. Honestly it tastes very much like what my mom and grandmother used to make. I'm definitely going to go back and try other items next time.
This is a beautiful, clean, family friendly, flexible space with delicious food. I had the sausage with mac and cheese and cole slaw, and my husband had brisket with potato salad and beans. If you follow me, you know I love cheese, and the mac could have had a little more. The cole slaw was excellent, and the brisket tasted amazing. We arrived early and there was no wait, but once the event started, the lines were long and slow. They did have free, self-serve water. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the restrooms were well maintained. Numerous picnic tables sit under giant spreading oaks decked with lights.Departure ATX played, and they sounded awesome. Many guests brought their own chairs.I would definitely attend again.
I've been driving by Agape BBQ for months on my way to visit a friend and today we decided to stop for lunch. I had the the meat plate with brisket, sausage and ribs and would return for any of them. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. The sausage was will cooked and delicious. As far as brisket goes around the Austin area, this was as good as I've ever had. Definitely will return for more of that brisket.
A beautiful gem of a barbecue joint out in Liberty Hill. Warm staff, spacious outdoor picnic dining area, and good vibes. Have I mentioned the food? It's absolutely delicious; brisket so tender it melts in your mouth. They often have live music on Friday & Saturday and I love to play here. I can't wait for the next time I get to eat some brisket and play at Agape!
