I highly recommend Dr. Sheppard for your ophthalmology needs. He has always listened to my needs and acted in a caring and professional manner. Each procedure I’ve needed has been explained in a way that I understand. The office staff is equally impressive as they are always accommodating and knowledgeable when I need to make an appointment.

Me and my mother both absolutely love how professional, courteous, sweet and thoughtful the entire staff is at Virginia Eye! She loves how all the doctors are doing all they can to save her precious eye sight. There's nothing she truly loves more than seeing both her granddaughter and grandson standing in front of her with open arms all dressed up in their Army dress blues!!! Thank you for all you do!!! I have been a patient of Dr Sheppard for at least 13 years. I had many problems with my eyes for years when I was refered to him. He immediately diagnosed my issues and started treatment which has kept me stable all of these years. He's an expert on all of the newest technology and treatments. I trust my sight to him completely.

Those complaining about short hours should complain to the appropriate US government office. Our post office (and the Walburg Post Office) were shortened to 1/2 day during Obama's administration. It seems that someone felt that money was better spent elsewhere (Iran?). So every postal worker at Weir (and Walburg) has been trying to do a full-time job in half the time. In addition the Weir Post Office gets many, many phone calls from people who couldn't get through to the Georgetown Post Office, and simply call another post office's number instead.

And for thanks for dealing with the problems caused by entities other than the post office itself, the people working there get nasty reviews. It would be responsible to find out exactly what is going on before criticizing.

Dr. Sheppard is wonderful! His extensive knowledge and commitment to care is 5-star all the way. His scribe, Ariel, always goes above and beyond for me as well. I know I am in good hands at Virginia Eye Consultants. The continuous improvement in my vision is a testament to their commitment to world class eye care.

If you are able to pick up packages during open hours of 1-5 this post office is wonderful compared to Geprgetown PO! nice employees too. It would be nice for Saturday pick up hours or after hours for folks who work later and need to pick up packages....
