Baldy's American Diner

We recently moved to Stockdale so we are trying everything! We love having weekend breakfasts out of the home and we always pass by Baldy's. We stopped in for breakfast and it was EXCELLENT! Felt like good ole' home cooking. Large portions so come hungry and early to beat the rush. The staff is super friendly, patient and efficient. This is absolutely one of our "go to" stops for food!

Great great spot to stop by for Breakfast or lunch. Staff was amazingly friendly and motivated to serve 6 hungry people after driving for hours. The menu had many options and for a very reasonable price. The owner was walking around and greeted us to a smile and a nice chat. Will be returning here in the near future for a good American Texas meal.

Their newer location here seems to have a higher average score on reviews, and this is the one I usually go to. When it comes to the quantity and quality of the food for the price that you pay, this is one of the best values in our area. I almost always get the steak omelet with homefries and pancakes. You can upgrade the pancakes depending on what's available at that time. I've had their hashbrowns once, and they were good, but this place has the best homefries that I've had, maybe ever.

Delicious food and great service. I had the chicken sandwich....it was so good. I will definitely go back there.

Steak and egg specials on the weekend. 3 can dine for under $50 with a nice tip. Look forward to it weekly.
