North Texas Karate Academy

My son is hard of hearing and wanted to try out karate a year and a half ago. The experience at NT Karate Academy has been phenomenal. The instructors make sure my son gets the communication he needs to fully participate without feeling singled out. In addition, my son has better focus and attention, understands and uses respect and honesty, and is thriving in a positive atmosphere. Mr. Starnes supports positive behaviors inside and outside of that building, uses natural consequences for actions, and has high expectations for all his students. They aren't just teaching movements here; they are teaching life skills.

My son has attended Karate here for 2 years and loves it. Great Instructors and very positive environment. Always looking out for our kids and adults best interests. Organized but also laid back and very clean. More than just a Karate school its a karate family. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for something for their children that helps with self confidence, respect, peer interactions. Just all around great place to be ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mr. Starnes and his team at North Texas Karate Academy are excellent & extraordinary! Mr. Starnes doesn't just teach karate, he is invested in his students and committed to seeing them succeed!
