After having 2 natural hospital births, I decided to go with a birth center for our 3rd. Patty and her ladies are great! This experience was a very hands off, let your body do its thing but also keeping an eye on growth, vitals and health. They are informative and easy to talk to and their office is very homey and cozy. When it came time to finally have the baby, they were very supportive and alert to how I was progressing. We were there less than 7 hours and then able to head home, settle in and enjoy our new addition.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Kueo and the midwives, especially Patty and Tayla. I started seeing them from the start of my 3rd pregnancy, and the difference of care compared to an OB and hospital birth is incredible. With my first pregnancy, I had twins and preterm labor that resulted in a 3 week stay at the hospital before they were born at 33 weeks. I believe that had I been in Patty’s care during that pregnancy, I would’ve had a much healthier pregnancy and possibly even made it to full term. My next pregnancy was a singleton, and I was in the care of midwives that deliver in hospital only. While I was thankful for the option for a water birth in the hospital (though I had to move out of the water minutes before he was born), I found that there wasn’t a drastic difference in an OB’s care vs hospital midwife. That birth didn’t go smoothly, and my 9lb 11oz baby got stuck which resulted in a birth injury that thankfully was only temporary and 3rd degree tearing. I was told by the attending midwife that he is the biggest baby that my body could birth and that they’d probably induce me earlier if I decided to have another baby (I was induced at 41 weeks and 1 day with him). After that birth, I learned a lot about pregnancy, labor, and delivery and how the outcome of that birth could’ve been prevented, and I decided to opt for an out of hospital birth should I have another and I am SO glad I did, and that I found Kueo. I spent a portion of my last pregnancy a tad anxious about shoulder dystocia but was always reassured by Patty that my body wouldn’t grow a baby bigger than I could birth, and that they are equipped to handle it. I trusted her and I am so incredibly glad that I did. My pregnancy was much healthier than previous ones, I had no swelling, no BP issues, no health concerns at all. With previous pregnancies I had always been so swollen in the 3rd trimester. When labor started, the birth team got to my home super fast. I planned for a water birth, but like my previous birth I needed to get out of the tub moments before he was born, only this time Patty suggested I get on all fours(to prevent baby getting stuck), where last time with my hospital birth I was told to lay on my back. Once I got on all fours, my 10lb chunk was fully born in just one push. Not stuck. No birth injury. And NO TEARING!!! Tayla, the student midwife, was a rockstar from the moment she got here to the moment she left, and she caught my baby. It was truly amazing. I have and will continue to recommend Kueo and the midwives there to everyone. I wish that all moms are able to experience the quality of care that they will get here!!!

We absolutely LOVE Kueo. Patty & her team actually put the CARE in health care. From our very first prenatal appointment, all the way up to postpartum, patty makes you and your family a priority. All of my future babies will hands down be delivered by her.

We had such a magical birth experience with Kueo Birth Center. We feel like they a family now. Would not dream of going anywhere else now.

One price included all of our pre birth care, delivery at the birth center and multiple follow up appointments after birth.

They came out to our house two days after the birth to help us with breastfeeding and to check on mom and baby. They advocated for us to have a chiropractor and lactation consultant come out to our house on a Sunday and even found us some donor milk to get us through the night. As a dad I got to go to every single appointment, and never had to wear a mask. I was able to be completely involved in the birth process catching our baby on delivery.

My husband and I just delivered our first baby at home with the midwives of Kueo Birth Center. We had the most incredible experience from start to finish. The level of care we received was better than we could’ve ever dreamt of. They answered all our questions and calmed any nerves we had, they loved us from then beginning and made sure we were safe and well informed about all the decisions we made along the way. Our birth was a dream come true and we welcomed a baby boy in February 23rd. We cannot wait to use them again with future pregnancies!
