While traveling solo, I went here three nights this week. The food is good, but the enchiladas were my favorite from my visits. While the Carne asada was cooked to the right temperature, it would have benefitted from some spices as it was a bit bland by itself.
The weekend bartender could really benefit from some adjustments in the restaurant processes as she had to step away from her station many, many times to get something that should already be at the bar (such as a bus tub so she would not have to take dishes to the back every time). With the constant distractions of having to leave her station, customers have to wait or requests are forgotten.
This is a great place to go to have a nice dinner by yourself or with friends. When the weather is good, the outside seating would be a great place to enjoy dinner.
In short, this is one of my favorite places to go in Decatur so far and I will be back on my next visit. The food is decent and the price is right.
Since I love Brisket and Mexican Food this place is perfect for me. Great food for the price. The Brisket Nachos were amazing and a lot for the money. The Beef Fajitas were mararinated just the way I like. Very tender and tasty. The atmosphere was very beautiful and an art paradise that I could spend hours photographing. Definitely worth a stop here when going to Decatur on 287.
I had the chicken fajitas. Chicken was tender but it lacked the menu advertised peppers, too many onions. The beer was cold but was not the one I ordered. Staff was friendly but it took them a long time to come to my table after I sat down. It’s a nice clean place with outdoor seating. If your in the area and craving TexMex it’s with the stop!
Villa Grande Ranch. Very good food and awesome service.
Wife had a brisket salad and i had beef fajitas and everything was great.
Mercedes our waitress was really good, professional and kept our glasses filled and was always checking on us.
Thats when I tip better when service is better. I recommend Villa Grande Ranch to all.
Really liked the chicken tortilla soup, combo fajitas were good, tortillas were okay, salsa was like Pace with some cilantro and chopped onion added, chips were nice and thin. The restaurant itself is beautiful with some really lovely decor like the huge chandelier when you come into the hostess area. Huge patio area, very nice bar, strong margaritas.
