“I’ve attended Beth Sar Shalom since February, 2019 and look forward each week to the praise and worship there. The songs are beautiful and the teaching is solidly Biblical presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ in a Jewish context. So much to learn!! Come and see!! Congregation Ohev Shalom

Address: 6821 McCallum Blvd, Dallas, TX 75252, USA

Synagogue

“I'm what you might call Orthodox-curious. I'm a member of a Conservative shul, but occasionally visit an orthodox synagogue to study or for a holiday or morning minyan. Ohev Shalom is a good one for a "tourist" like me, as I find it welcoming, friendly, and forgiving when my ignorance shows through. Make no mistake, this is an entirely traditional, fully observant synagogue, with gender-separate seating and a lower-case-c conservative orientation. But if you show up with an open mind ready to experience what's on offer it is a beautiful and spiritual community.”

Congregation Beth Simcha

Young Israel Synagogue of Dallas

Address: 6504 Dykes Way, Dallas, TX 75230, USA

Synagogue

“I didn't actually go inside Young Israel synagogue of Dallas. I stumbled upon it when I was walking the dogs. It's situated at the corner of Dykes way and Gramercy in a residential area. At first I thought it was just a large rather Bland looking house and then I noticed the parking areas in the back and front. There were 12 cars in the back and 5 in the front and designated disabled parking in the back. I thought it was rather odd to have a synagogue in the middle of a residential area. Perhaps it was grandfathered in.”
