(November 7, 2018, 11:03 pm)I have had the privilege of practicing Aikido several times with Alison Lincoln Sensei, and each time have come away with a deeper understanding of the art. She demonstrates that compassion and confidence can coexist, both on and off the mat.
If you have the opportunity to benefit from her instruction, take it!

She is a skilled and patient instructor. Her dedication to the art is immense.

(November 1, 2018, 5:19 pm)Lincoln Sensei is a patient and dedicated teacher. It is clear that she takes care to ensure students of any experience level feel comfortable on the mat. I also cannot emphasize enough how empowering it is to learn martial arts from another woman. Lincoln sensei has been a role model to me since I started training with her 5 years ago.

I have participated in many classes and seminars with her, and I'm always grateful for her unique combination of extreme dedication and commitment to training combined with her compassion and friendliness towards students. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practicioner of Aikido, you will find Ryushinkan is a great place to train. I wish I lived in D. C. so I could take classes here!
