I was never more relieved than today after visiting Dr Adrian Uy’s clinic that I wanted to share once I got home. There were so many health questions I meant to ask, but because of the pandemic, had been putting it off. Dr Uy was very patient and kept a jolly outlook that helped me feel better. He is also very knowledgeable and do not cut corners when wanting to make sure my concerns are put to rest. I even asked him to give me my first flu shot! Painless to say the least, peace of mind is priceless for me. Thank you, Dr Uy, I want to be able to trust Doctors and you make it easy!
This is an update:
I have not met a more caring Doctor! When realizing that I did not receive my medication, I got a call from my doctor after office hours. I was reassured that a supply with be sent to the pharmacy closest to me, while I sort out any pending with the pharmacy that my company uses for its staff. This is so much appreciated especially if without the medicine, I will experience discomfort and be at risk of more severe symptoms. Thank you, Dr Uy!
**I went for my annual July 8 and this is an update**
It can be stressful going to see the Dr especially when I know I have not been taking good care of myself and lifestyle. If you are like me, then you want to find a doctor like Adrian Uy!
It was not bad as I thought, even the blood tests went by fast: Joy at the laboratory is so efficient and I did not have chance to run all the fear programs before the blood was drawn to have my tests done. All in all, it was a relief to get all the examinations done-I was late and the wait was still not bad at all, compared to my previous experiences. Mostly, Dr Adrian Uy is personable and I could tell compassionate too. Thank you Dr Uy, Joy, staff of Arlington Medical.💤
I recommended my mother to see Dr. Adrian Uy as her PCP, and he’s been seeing her for 15 years. My mother is finicky and unbearable at most times, but he’s been very patient and available for her, especially considering she’s been getting more ailments as she’s getting into her 70s. Dr Uy used to be my PCP in high school 15 years ago, but since then I had moved and now I’m covered by VA (Veterans Affairs) healthcare, but I still recall how compassionate and sincere he was. I remember asking him why he hung his MD degree in a frame above him on the wall (I had a certain judgment at the time about it since I always considered certificates/credentialism cheesy and never went to my graduations), and I recall his response to me was that it wasn’t the credential that he was showing off, but he kept it there as a reminder for all the struggles he went through to finally become a doctor. I’m in my own journey now to become a PCP as a non-traditional, late-aged student, and I understand a bit more what he meant by that.
Dr. Uy’s a great doctor. I always hear positive feedback from my mother that he listens to her and addresses her concerns.
Dr. Uy takes time to listen and never rushes you. Truly cares! I wish I had him as a doctor many years ago. So happy he is my doctor. I also love the staff especially Gloria and Mike.
Dr. Uy, is AMAZING he has been our family doctor for many years and he has literally SAVED mine and my Father’s life by being so proactive in his follow up on medical care. I have systemic scleroderma and my father stage 4 prostate cancer. Dr. Uy, is truly a knowledgeable, caring, direct and efficient Doctor. Also, his nurse Niles is awesome!
